How to install Engage on a Mac

There are a few different ways you can get Engage installed on a Mac. Each of these products lets you install Microsoft Windows on your Mac. Once Windows is running, you can then install Office for Windows. This is what will then let you install the Engage PowerPoint add-in. Your IT department may already have a preference for one of the products listed below so please check with them first if needed.

Boot Camp helps you install Microsoft Windows on your Mac. After installing, restart your Mac to switch between OS X and Windows. This is a free product from Apple.

Parallels Desktophttp://www.parallels.com/ca/products/desktop/

Parallels Desktop lets you use use both Mac and Windows applications on your Mac without rebooting. You are able to run Windows applications on your Mac in a seamless fashion. This is a paid product that starts at $79 and is made by Parallels.

VirtualBoxhttps://www.virtualbox.org/

VirtualBox is a powerful x86 and AMD64/Intel64 virtualization product for enterprise as well as home use. VirtualBox also offers a seamless mode allowing you to run guest programs without the guest operating system's desktop getting in the way. This is a free product from Oracle.
